Still Pretty Cold

It really is winter without the snow in Nashville. It is windy, cold and damp in the air but no falling precipitation. Both jv and varsity girls' teams won yesterday. Morgan nailed a big three-pointer at the end of the first half which was pretty fun. Varsity beat Goodpasture by 16. Shelbi was not able to play due to the concussion and she seems to be getting better each day. Hopefully she will not be out too long especially with so few games left in the regular season.

Made it back from the youth ministry meeting in AL yesterday in time to see about half the jv game. The meeting was okay. It was good to see so many friends involved in student ministry on the national level. I head to Jacksonville, FL tomorrow, back on Tues. and then off to Chattanooga on Weds-Fri. Sort of a busy time but should not miss any games. I also have a lot going on at work and am still trying to finish this book on student leadership that I am writing. Crazy time. I will get it all done though.

Will update you in a couple of days on Sondra's dad and how the oral chemo is going. Thanks for praying for him and my mother-in-law Joyce.
