70 Degrees in January

It is nice to live in a place that can be frigid one day and really nice and warm the next. Looks like we will hit 70 degrees today and it was nice to get out and run this morning and not have to put on fourteen pounds of clothing.

The weekend went pretty well. Attended church and taught SS yesterday and I have to say that our younger marrieds class is just pretty amazing. It is a joy to prepare and present to them each week and their transparency in what they are dealing with is refreshing. I am blessed to be a part of their world.

The Titans/Chargers game went better than I thought it would and even though the Titans lost I thought they placed decently. Next year we will have a little more offense rather than just Bironas kicking from all over the field.

It was back to work today and preparing for an all day meeting on Tues and a teaching trip to New Orleans Seminary Weds/Thurs. I am announcing the guys' varsity game tonight and then home for a night's rest and 10 miler tomorrow. I have decided to run the Country Music Marathon in April and training officially started today.

yeah. today was nice. i ran this morning as well. okay, so that's probably an overstatement. i ran 1.5 miles. ha! but i finished it off with some crunches, pushups, and sprint training. i am feeling better each day, though.

have fun announcing the game!
