I am sitting in the KC Airport waiting on a late flight to carry me back to Nashville and thought I would take advantage of the free wifi at the airport. Had a good day with mom today. She seems to be a lot more awake and aware of things going on. She ate much more today and even got up and walked (with her rolling walker) around the house some.

I went to church with dad this morning and he preached a great sermon on being strong and the full armor of God. The old boy can still preach, that is for sure. We had some cousins come by today and it was good to see them even though the visits were short.

Mom doing better today makes it a little easier leaving tonight. There is much going on this week with soccer and volleyball (district tournament starts on Tues.) and many work related activities. We are all headed up here on Fri. since the girls are on a short fall break.

Thanks for praying for mom and dad. Pray that this flight gets me home safely sometime tonight or early morning.
